The Tall Tree~Slenderman x Reader

                 

There was always this one tall, lanky, weak, and old tree in your fenced-in back yard.

It was always there when you woke up.

It was always there when you played outside.

It was always there on rainy days.

But... It just stood there. Staring at you. Only, with no face.

You've asked his name many times, only you'd never get an answer. You tended to play with it. You had plenty of other friends, but it was special. He was someone who grew close to you. You tried to tell your parents about it, but they'd always say it was your imagination.

You knew it was more than that, though. You knew there was a bond between the two of you. 

It was 12 years since you talked with it. He was still anonymous, and stayed mute. When you packed your things to leave to college, you saw a note on the same wrecked tree, though it wasn't there...

Slowly, you approached the tree and pulled the note from the tree.

"No eyes, always watching...
