You picked up your pen and looked at the last pink card that was set before you and smiled. 'Best for last!' You thought to yourself and took a small amount of time to think out some sort of cheesy quote until you thought of one and began to jot down in cursive;
If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day so I never have to live without you.
Smiling, you dropped the pen and leaned back to read it from afar. You gave it an approval nod and tucked the letter into the envelope, shutting it with a small heart sticker you found with the rest on the valentines crap from the storage room.
You knew precisely who would get this specific one. Hoodie. You knew you both could have awkward times around each other, but most of the time you two were like two peas in a pod.
Waking from your fantasy love land, you flinched to see a hand placed on your shoulder. Looking up, you saw Jane. "Hey (y/n). Got your letters done because Splendor says it's time to hand them out." She asked you and crouched to your side.
Nodding in reply, you collected the letters into one big pile and swiped them into your arms. "Okay, let's get this over with." You huffed and tried to make it seem as if you hadn't just been fantasising.

"Alright everyone! You should have one card left, give it to the last person and then we'll be able to eat." Splendor laughed.
Sighing chalantly, you looked at the letter in your trembling palms and gave yourself a brief nodding, approaching Hoodie. "Here." You smiled and passed him the small envelope.
He took yours as if this was an every-day routine in the manor and gave you his. Smiling, you held it to your side and waited for him to read it. Slowly, he took his eyes from the letter to you, looking back down and reading it aloud this time. "I hate you, you stupid bastard. Have a nice fucking holiday... Hatred from yours truly, (y/n)..." He folded it back up.
Your eyes widened and you gasped. "Oops..." You said and slowly reached for it.
Just as you felt the paper in your hand, you glanced over to see Ben standing on the couch yelling his letter. "If you live to be a hundred, I want to be a hundred minus one so I never live a day without you. Sincerely, (y/n). Oh (y/n)! I knew I had quite the package, but never one so... Seductive in your eyes." He waved his eyebrows and jumped down, walking towards you.
"Oh give me that you melon-head dwarf!" You scolded and sarcastically smiled, snatching the letter from his hands and replacing his empty palms with the hate mail and handing Hoodie the love one.
Few laughs made their way around the crowd as everyone was shortly dismissed to roam freely and eat. Here was the perfect chance to tell Hoodie about how you felt. "Hey Hood, could we talk for a sec.?" You smiled anxiously and he nodded.
You led him out of the filled kitchen and upstairs into the hall and sighed. "What's up?" He said and leaned against the wall, completely chilled out as you stood before him in a short moment of silence.
"I wanted to... Just get this off my chest, and since it's Valentines Day, I thought it'd-" Seeing you were getting off track, you shook your head and sighed. "I want to tell you how I feel, no matter if you feel the same or different. But I love you, and I don't care what everyone else thinks or says." You said it as confidently as you could.
There was a small quiet moment before the proxy answered. "Well, you wouldn't be standing here like a fool trying to seem 'chill' when you should be reading my letter," He pointed at the letter in your hand. Gawd, did you love it when he could tell your physical actions from your emotions.
"Oh, right..." You blushed a little embarrassed you hadn't remembered. Opening it slowly, you read the note carefully.
Will you stop fucking teasing me and make a damn move already? My room, tonight at 9.
